This year has seen some huge BO records being made back to back. Though it has only been big starrer films that have created new Opening Day records, this week saw an unusal change in that pattern. Making it to the list of Top Openers this week is the most unexpected film...adult comedyGrand Masti. In this edition of Box Office Report Card, we list the Top 10 highest Opening Day collections.

While the list is still firmly led by Chennai Express followed by Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and multi-starrer Race 2, Indra Kumar's adult sex comedy Grand Masti comes in at number four with Opening Day collections at Rs. 12.5 crores. 

Proving a point yet again that over the top sex comedies still maintain a strong viewer base in India, Grand Masti's opening figures leave no room for doubt.

Enough has been said about Chennai Express, but here is yet another update on a film  that is the biggest grosser in the history of Indian Cinema and also the only film in the ’400 crore club’. It also holds almost every box office record that exists!

Even though a big film like Satyagraha released last week, Chennai Express continued its steady ready at the box office. In its 5th week, the film should finally cross the 225 crore mark!
